I would not normally have anything political, etc.. on here, but i just wanted to say Thank you to our military for making today possible. Osama Bin Laden is gone and the world is a better place for it. USA!

I wonder if all Photographers have addictions to props???

So, I have a prop addiction. Unfortunately, I do not have the money to feed the addiction so I window shop. At actual stores & of course in this day, on all the Facebook pages for companies who produce photography props (which there are lots). Backgrounds, bowls for babies, hats, clothes, chairs, all of it. I constantly find myself entering all the different giveaways people have to try desperately to win.  I could possibly, sit at my computer all day, looking at props, making "if I had $5000" lists & entering giveaways. I so LOVE my job photographing maternity, children, Newborns and their families and desperately want to better myself, offer more!! My husband asks me when I ask about buying something, "Is it something you NEED?"..to which with dismay I admit, I only WANT it...I don't NEED it. Frustrating. Alright, back to window shopping as it's naptime & raining here at my house.

I love my job!

Seriously... I truly enjoyed teaching, but coming into photography I think I may love it more. It will be hard to make the transition back to teacher only if I ever have to do that. I'm hoping one day I can make photography my career. I'm trying to learn more all the time & better myself. Not quite sure what else I can do (if you have ideas let me know!). I may start using this page to promote sales, etc... thought Facebook does work well for me. Photography, particularly Newborn Photography & Children Photography hold my heart...just past God, my husband and my girls. :-) Thank you to any and all who read this and help me with my addiction to photography...or I guess feed the addiction. :-)

Baby chicks & more!

It has been an exciting week! The ducks didn't come in on time so I had to drive a little further to pick up some baby chicks! The photo shoots when great & I even found the chicks a good home afterwards. I love doing family photography and children photography! Always fun!

Children Photography Discounted Session

I am happy to announce that I will be getting 2 baby ducklings to help pose in precious pictures with an precious infants or children who want to! My plan is to have 30 minute photo shoots (possibly two, one in Lake City & one in Lake Butler) for $30 each. The price includes a CD of 15-20 edited pictures. I edite quickly (part of my perfectionist part of me, I can't wait to look at the pictures I get & see who they turned out), so if you live nearby you could have your CD the next day! When I get the ducklings if there's enough time, I will snap some quick shots with my little darlings so that you can get an idea of what we will get. Kids love animals...especially baby animals. :-)

Easter Pictures & St. Augustine

I almost forgot about my own little models! Here are pictures I did for our family Easter pictures as well as on a recent trip to St. Augustine. It is definately a place I recommend for great photos! So many different background options all in one place! Obviously, my youngest was way more in the mood on both days to pose for the camera.
